Objectives:
- Provide technical and vocational education and training (TVET) to 5,000 women and adolescent girls through safe centers to enhance their skills and empower them economically through employment or self-employment, thereby improving their quality of life. This includes establishing linkages with institutions and entrepreneurs in the fields of business and employment.
- Organize awareness events for 5,000 women and girls on human rights, gender equality, legal empowerment, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
- Conduct awareness events for 5,000 women and girls on public health services and their right to equal access to such services.
- Provide training to women and girls on how to use digital platforms related to public health services.
- Raise awareness among community members about public health services and their right to equal access to such services.
- Conduct awareness sessions for men and boys on human rights, gender equality, and their role in transforming social norms.
- Develop a support mechanism like Safe Help Desks to encourage community members to engage in social transformation.
- Train community leaders on gender equality, human rights, holding the state accountable for gender equality, and networking.
- Identify women’s rights and civil society organizations and provide them with advocacy training to influence the state in implementing gender equality laws.
- Train women’s/women-led rights organizations on community mobilization.
- Train volunteers on community mobilization.
- Organize community awareness campaigns on gender equality, human rights, and gender-based violence through street plays, mobile theater, and evening shows.
- In collaboration with local and school authorities, assist both girls/women and boys/men with or without disabilities in re-enrolling in open or formal schools.
- Establish open school centers and safe learning centers in collaboration with local and school authorities.
- Monitor the use of Aptus devices in pilot schools/centers.
- Provide training to school teachers and management committee members on addressing gender-based violence.
- Train school committee members on prevention and response to gender-based violence in schools.
- Train community members on how to prevent and respond to gender-based violence in schools.
- Include women farmers with disabilities or from marginalized backgrounds in sustainable agricultural practices and provide relevant training.
- Provide training on financial literacy to women and adolescent girls with disabilities or from marginalized groups and help them develop business plans for e-commerce.
- Link and assist women farmers and entrepreneurs to access microcredit from financial institutions.
- Provide training to persons with disabilities/marginalized groups on climate-related issues.
